Hypnosis As A Tool In Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
It should be based on the principle
of not using hypnosis in interventions or treatments that we cannot perform
without it. That is, everything that is done with hypnosis can be done without
its concurrence. However, the reciprocal assertion of the previous premise can
also be true: everything that is done without hypnosis can be done with it.
1. OVERCOMING AND IMPROVEMENT
●
Improve the concentration and
performance of athletes of all levels.
●
Increase Self-esteem (with all
that this "super factor" of personality supposes).
●
Incorporate self - control and
self - improvement mechanisms for people with high professional demands and/or in chronic stress situations.
●
Help students to focus attention,
increase their motivation, improve their study habits, as well as performance
in evaluation situations (exams and exams). In short, facilitate the processes
and results of learning.
●
Provide a tool to artists, which
facilitate experimentation and deepening in the sensations, emotions, and perceptions conducive to the creation,
execution, and achievement of their
works.
●
Hypnosis can be very helpful in
TRAINING IN SOCIAL SKILLS (EHHS), both for the acquisition and practice of
these skills.
2. THERAPEUTIC AID
●
Hypnosis is indicated, and
traditionally used, in subjects related to the preparation of medical
interventions and, from my field of professional action, for the PSYCHOLOGICAL
TREATMENT OF CHRONIC PAIN , REPETITIVE ACUTE PAIN AND PSYCHOSOMATIC PROBLEMS
(for example, headaches , migraines , chronic benign pain , fibromyalgia , pain
from cancer and dysmenorrhea ).
●
Application of hypnosis to the
preparation of childbirth.
●
In PSYCHOTHERAPY it is applied as
an adjunct in treatments for MOOD DISORDERS: DEPRESSION; ANXIETY DISORDERS:
specific phobia and social phobia, panic attacks (panic attacks); overcoming
TRAUMATIC SITUATIONS - Posttraumatic Stress Disorder -TEPT-, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) etc.
STRESS FACING, Antabuse Implant.
●
Disorders DREAM, sexual dysfunction,
dissociative disorders as well as disorders PERSONALITY. It is considered
important to emphasize the importance of the application of hypnosugestive procedures in the treatment of
PTSD in cases of SEXUAL ABUSE, as well as for the treatment of PHYSICAL AND
PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE.
●
In DISORDERS FOR CONSUMPTION OF
SUBSTANCES: ADDICTIONS (for example, TOBACCO TREATMENT IN THE TREATMENT OF
TOBACCO / STOP SMOKING) and DISORDERS OF FOOD BEHAVIOR: anorexia, bulimia, and obesity.
●
In evolutionary adaptation
problems and specific according to the moment of the Life Cycle of the people.
Thus, the application of hypnosis as an adjunct to therapy has special
relevance in childhood (treatment of enuresis and behavioral habits), in maturity
(psychoprophylaxis for the preparation of
childbirth), and in old age (for example, chronic pain).
●
Speech disorders: DISFEMIA
(stuttering).
Finally, hypnosis derives a series
of techniques such as some procedures of RELAXATION AND SELF-CONTROL, very useful
and good results in therapy, which allow a great speed in its application and
learning by customers, plus they can be applied both in individual cases and in
the group.
Currently, modern hypnosis and
related techniques are recognized as tools that once acquired, can help
increase social skills, assertiveness Disulfiram Implant, and self-esteem, etc., in short, to improve the basic repertoire of
everyday behaviors.
